Our Membership year runs from July 1 to June 30.

$5 of each dues payment is sent to our International Headquarters, thus enlisting you as a “Sustaining Member” of the fraternity and enabling you to receive The Signet four times per year (in addition to our own award-winning magazine, “The THIRD DEGREE”).

The Eta Alumni Association needs your support – your time, talent, and treasure. Financial contributions can be made at any time via VENMO – or you can mail a check to your alumni association at the address listed on the “Contact Us” page of this website. Instructions on joining and renewing are listed below. Any method you choose to support our efforts will be greatly appreciated.

To meet our common goals, two kinds of contributions are needed immediately. First, we need to gather accurate contact information on our alumni that provides us with the best way to reach all Eta Alumni. Your Executive Committee continues to improve our membership database, making telephone calls to individual alumni, and preparing and mailing outreach materials designed to re-connect our alumni with each other and with our undergraduate members.

You can help by becoming a member and contributing to our cause. You can also share with every alumni member whom you know the good news about the Eta Chapter at the University of Maryland, and about the value of a strong alumni association. We also need brothers who are willing to take just ten names from our database – just ten – and contact our Brothers to share with them the good news about our Alumni Association, and verify their contact information. Your financial contributions will enable the alumni association to continue our professional outreach campaign, sponsor alumni events, maintain this website, and continue the all-important fundraising that will provide both undergraduate scholarships and the funds with which we can outfit our Chapter House at #2 Fraternity Row, and create the financial base needed to ensure our long-term success. So, please contribute whatever you can.
